My reprieve

Wow!! I can't believe how long it's been since I've posted on here. Life in June was an absolute whirlwind. Trev was home for the month and after a LOT of work we managed to get the basement done and the house ready for listing. We moved the boys into the basement and our house size immediatly doubled...WHAT a difference!! I love it. We finally have space! The basement turned out really nice and the boys love their funky new bedrooms. So our house has been up for sale for about 3 weeks now but still no offers. As July marches on I'm starting to get a little anxious because Trev is now working out in Calgary and I really really am ready to get out there and be with him. But I know that worrying will not help a bit...if we're supposed to be out there by the end of the summer, God will make the way and no amount of worrying will make any difference.

I drove out to Calgary with Trev at the end of June and we did some house hunting. We took Jude with us and he was soooo good. He did get a bit impatient with being stuck in his carseat so much but overall he was a really good boy. We looked at a number of houses but we haven't settled on anything as of yet. We're waiting for our house to sell before we move on anything over there. We got to spend a bit of time with Colleen and Jerrie and the kids and then Jude and I flew back home on his birthday, July 5th.

So now we have a bit of a reprieve for a few weeks. The boys are having a lot of sleepovers and I'm just busy trying to keep the house in a semi-clean state at all times so that the house can be shown even on short notice. I have to enjoy these days because once the house sells the whirlwind will pick up again.


We celebrated my baby's 1 year birthday before Trev left. We had his baby dedication and party at the same time. We invited family and friends and had the party at the pool in Trev's parents back yard. I still can't believe my baby is already 1 year old and walking!! How does a year go by that fast?!? Another exciting event of the past few weeks is that Jude
finally got some teeth. Yeah!! So while Jude just got his front two teeth, Jonah lost his front two teeth. He lost them a week apart so the tooth fairy has been very busy around here lately. He'll have an awesome school picture this year won't he! :)
